Dehradun: A lady has recorded a police grievance against a Uttarakhand BJP MLA blaming him for assaulting her multiple times somewhere in the range of 2016 and 2018, and she has been charged for supposedly coercing him following an objection by the administrator's better half, police said on Monday.

"The lady who is hitched leveled the claims against the BJP's Dwarahat MLA Mahesh Negi. A grumbling was held up at Nehru settlement police headquarters here on Sunday," DG (peace) Ashok Kumar said.

In her grumbling, the lady asserted that he had fathered her kid and a DNA test can be led to discover reality, as per the police.

She has blamed the MLA for venturing out with her to Mussoorie, Nainital, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Nepal and assaulting her multiple times somewhere in the range of 2016 and 2018.
