Itziar Camio has always focused on education as she believes that it is the key to providing both the foundation for a future career and in ensuring that you improve your standing as a professional once you have started on your chosen career path. As such, she has dedicated as much of her life as possible to improving her skillset, making her a more attractive hire for potential employers while also ensuring that she offers the high standard of service that her clients expect.

Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Camio began working for a company in the financial field as an accountant. It was during this period of her life that she came to understand just how much work is involved when it comes to offering a high-level accountancy service to clients, leading to her making the decision to become a Certified Public Accountant so she could learn more about how to provide that level of service.

This led to her taking a consultancy role, where she worked with Deloitte and Touche for three years, during which time she applied what she had learned both through formal education and as a result of her previous experiences, learning more about providing a service to fellow professionals in addition to continuing to develop her client service skills.

Itziar Camio then made the decision to change her career course, spending five years of her life back in her native Spain, teaching English through her own language school. As always, she didn’t rest on her previous certification to teach English that she received from Cambridge to coast by, instead renewing her efforts to improve as a professional by learning as much as she could about the various complexities that surround the teaching profession so that she could provide the best lessons possible to her students.

Today, Itziar Camio has returned to the United States and continues to focus on her professional development. She has recently competed her Master’s degree in International Development at the University of California and has gone on to continue her studies at UC Berkeley with the aim of being able to offer even more than she ever has before.
