First of all, check whether the feature of email forwarding has been activated or not. If activated, then your messages might be going to a different account.
To check for it, click on the Action pop-up menu located in the sidebar.
Select Preferences, and de-select Forward my email to option and click done.
Also, check for your browser’s compatibility with Apple products.
In case, you are not receiving mails form a specific address, then check whether you have configured the settings so that all the emails from that particular sender are deleted. Yu can check upon that by following these steps:

Go to iCloud Mail, and click Action pop-up menu located at the sidebar, and select Rules.
If you are using Mac, then follow this route: Mail > Preferences> Rules.
In the junk folder, look for emails that have been mistakenly marked as junk, and unmark them.
