Pedram Zohrevand is the Director of Engineering at CES4. He has also worked with many reputed organizations prior to this. From April 2014 to October 2015, he worked as the Assistant City Engineer at the City of Fort Lauderdale. There, he was responsible for the managerial and professional engineering work in the Public Works Department Engineering Division while overseeing and supervising all engineering and architectural activities throughout the City. His main accomplishments include -

Department Process/Performance Improvement: Developing performance metrics and monitoring system for Capital Improvement Projects.
Staffing: He managed a team of about 50 employees and helped in alleviating the issues relating to understaffing in the engineering division.
Executive project management training: He organized a project management training program for the engineering staff to standardize the processes and procedures within the engineering division
Implementation of Adaption Action Areas (AAAs) policies adopted into the City’s Comprehensive plan.

Being a director at CES4, Pedram Zohrevand manages all types of design services in diverse areas, including structural and civil engineering, as well as project management and construction inspection. He is also responsible for the management and conduction of all structural engineering projects, along with assessment, design and rehabilitation of residential and commercial buildings and seismic retrofit.

He has maintained a great professional background by working with Mojda & Associates, Consulting Engineers Co. in Iran as a Structural Engineer and Assistant Project Manager. Afterwards, at Florida International University, he worked as the Research Assistant/Ph.D. Candidate, where he has been serving as the Research Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor over the last few years.

Pedram Zohrevand has more than 12 years of experience in design, construction, management and leadership. At present, he is the Director of CES4, having two offices in Florida and California. He did several projects in Florida and earthquake retrofit projects in California. Concerning his educational background, he has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Florida International University, Miami, Florida. He has completed his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran and B.Sc. in the same field from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran.
