If you haven’t been following, Microsoft purchased Wunderlist to revitalize its own attempts and practices for making a productivity application, Microsoft To Do. Though it received a lukewarm initial acceptance, To Do has advanced into a competitive application incorporating many of Wunderlist’s features and functionalities, even if some users would have the OG application back.
For obvious reasons, Microsoft has given preference to emphasize the integration the application with its own services. This effortlessly renders an advantageto the entire Office ecosystem and smoothens task management from PCs, mobile devices, and smartwatches.
At some point, the creator of Wunderlist even offered to purchase the application back, it seems like Wunderlist has seen the technology world enough and its time to say ‘goodbye’ forever. As Microsoft announced, 6th May onwards the application will no longer be synchronized to the cloud. However, users can export their lists and tasksto Microsoft To Do. Wunderlist is retiring as the 6Wunderkinder team has stopped releasing updates and bug fixes. Considering this fact, it will take no longer to completely close down the application and deliver advanced services to valuable customers for streamlining daily task management and planning.
If you have been holding onto hope of a Wunderlist revival or resurgence, its high time to let it go and get To Do for smart, smooth, and advanced daily planning. For more information on how to transit to Microsoft To Do, stay tuned to our upcoming updates.
