On the past Monday Ilsap with the permission of officials of health department successfully organized a series of an awareness campaign to make a sustainable effort to encourage the generation, especially those who are with rare blood group for blood donation as a humanitarian action. Their campaign is purely dedicated to those people who are fighting for survival due to the insufficiency of blood units available in hospitals or they can’t afford it. This a noble way to support the hospitals who are in a hunt for collecting protected and fresh blood free from the symptoms of communicable disease. Ilsap volunteers make every possible effort to save the lives of many people who are in need of blood.

For so many years they carry forward the act of selfless service towards achieving the disease-free India and promoting the blood donation campaign among huge masses by reaching out to various groups. Their campaign also aware the donor and visitors about the importance of blood donation, its requirements, benefits to one’s health that rescue their suffering from the disease. According to reports, India consists a population of around 1.2 billion citizens and is continuously going through the shortage of blood crisis and the World Health Organization is always making an urge for blood donations. Society taking the system for granted and no efforts of any kind are made on their end, thereby the need reaches to 12 million units of blood and only one percent of donations are coming from one donor. To achieve the requirement of WHO, Ilsap landed in the field and creating a sense of importance for blood donation in the ignorant society.

This is their effort that resulted in greater success than was expected, the campaign collected 200 blood units for continuous 3 days in a different location of India covering the college campus. “The campaign would not have been possible for us without the support of nobly minded donor who has contributed not just their blood, but also their effort with us in providing care and protection to parentless underprivileged children and needy people. We truly appreciate the generous contributions made by our donors, staff, and helpers, helping us to transform the lives of children under our care.

With such selfless service, one thing is clear about Ilsap is that their compassion and perspective for the ailing patients generate a fiery revolution in the society which is essential to help patients that need blood transfusion that give them a new life.
