iDreamCareer.com (iDC), A career counselling EdTech startup based in Delhi, has received innovation grant from Central Square Foundation, which is a venture philanthropy fund and policy think tank focused on improving learning outcomes and quality of school education for children for low-income communities in India.

iDreamCareer.com has utilised this grant to create a dedicated solution for online career counsellor which is relevant for government school students in India. This solution includes an extensive well researched database on 221 vocational/skill careers which is now available in Hindi language for the first time in India apart from English language as well. The solution developed by iDC also includes vocational career assessment tool (available in English & Hindi language) which will identify student’s aptitude, personality and interest and scientifically map them to the right careers. In the due course of time an extensive scholarship directory along with skill institute directory will also be available in the platform.

iDreamCareer.com is the key implementation partner in the career guidance project with Delhi government that is being supported by Central Square Foundation & UNDP, India. Under this project iDC will -

• Train & empower 480 EVGC counselors

• Conduct its proprietary vocational assessment tool for all the class 10th and 12th students studying in 1029 government schools of Delhi

• Offer one-on-one guidance by the EVGC counselors for classes 10th & 12th govt. school students in Delhi.

• Provide an online career dashboard on iDC platform for every student.

The iDC dashboard will allow the student to access their unique 16 page unique career recommendation report (in Hindi language), 500+ career information (in Hindi & English language), scholarship, entrance exam & college directory along with a feature to chat with a career counselor for regular handholding over a period of time.
