The IBR Asia Group Announces 2 New Government Jobs Acquired

Posted May 31, 2019 by IBRAsiaGroup

The stereotypical view of an Annual Report is that it is a thick book that is produced just to comply with regulations.

For over 20 years, the IBR Asia Group has been producing custom and contract publishing work for clients. Periodicals, coffee table books, annual reports, management reports and even writing content for websites.

The latest additions to the portfolio has been The Annual Productivity Report 2018 which they are currently producing for the Malaysian Productivity Corporation, an agency under the Ministry of International Trade & Industry and the annual report for Greentech, an agency under the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change.

With these two new projects under their belt, and having had a long career of producing work for a multitude of Ministries, The IBR Asia Group is now stepping up its game in creating business coaching for Ministries too, in addition to custom and contract publishing jobs.

“Perspective from industry and perspective from government can be quite a huge difference, so we hope to be able to bridge the gap by doing things differently,” says The IBR Asia Group’s Publishing Manager, Eddie Marius Ng.

“Take for example producing Annual Reports. The stereotypical view of an Annual Report is that it is a thick book that is produced just to comply with regulations. And let’s face it, most of the time Annual Reports are dull.. They are full of facts and figures that few people would bother to read. Even shareholders. Most will just look at the financial performance and ask, “How much did the company make? How much dividend am I going to make?”

An Annual Report should be more than that. IT IS more than that. An Annual Report is a celebration of the company’s successes, achievements, milestones over the past year. They should want people to read it. They should want to captivate the readers. And that is what makes us, The IBR Asia Group, stand out, because we know just how to do that. We know how to tell a story.”

At time of writing, The IBR Asia Group is finishing Malaysia Airports’s cofffetable book and pitching for 3 more of such from some of Malaysia’s largest companies.

These are exciting times ahead, indeed.
