[DENVER, April 1, 2015] - Restoration Community Church, one of Denver’s most active and involved local churches, hosts a Mothers of Preschoolers on the first and third Thursdays of every month. Whether or not they are members of the congregation, mothers of young children can join in freely. Interested participants can contact the church for inquiries.

While motherhood is full of wonderful experiences, it can also be a daunting responsibility, especially during the child’s earlier years. Moms need a community that understands what they go through on a daily basis, a source of valuable advice and much-needed comforting. This is where the MOPS movement helps, as it brings women together to share in the unique ups and down of motherhood.
MOPS has swept through the country, empowering women and giving them the support they need to become happier and wiser moms. Restoration Community Church is currently hosting a MOPS program of their own, and invites everyone interested to give it a try as well.

Participate in the MOPS Program at Restoration Community Church

Those who participate in the church’s MOPS program can look forward to connecting with God, sharing the joyful days and challenges of motherhood with each other, and enjoy a warm meal. On-site childcare is also available for kids 6 months to 5 years old, so moms will not have to leave their young ones at home. It costs nothing, though participants can give a one-time gift of $50 to help.

The MOPS program at Restoration Community Church will continue until May. Until then, mothers are free to try everything the program has to offer. The church will also hold their annual Good Friday and Easter celebrations soon, giving everyone more chances to meet other people and worship in a community setting.
