Dusseldorf, 20th September - Dusseldorf is one of the largest cities of Germany with a great role in business and economy. • It’s an international business and university centre: this means that people from all over the world live here and visit here which makes the city wonderfully international.

• Event centre: if you are into Fashion or other special events then this city is the place to visit. The biggest fashion event of Germany the Dusseldorf Fashion Week is held in Dusseldorf every year between July and August.

• Arts and cultural centre: Dusseldorf gives home to countless art galleries and has some of the largest number of museums.

• The beer: if you are a fan of beer then Dusseldorf is the place to be. It has world famous „Altbier” or old beer that’s being brewed with special methods. As an extra there are five breweries in town where you can both check out the beer making methods and drink their own beer. They are all located in the Altstadt (Old Town) region of the city.

• The crafts: Dusseldorf is famous for its glassworks and visitors can also witness the art of glass blowing in many of the glassware stores or upon carnivals.

• The Cartwheeler of Dusseldorf: it’s a little-known fact that Dusseldorf is home of the so-called Cartwheeler (Radschlager) and you can spot statues, pictures of cart wheelers all across the city. This can be lead back to an old tradition of cartwheel competitions back in the day.

• The Dusseldorf Carnival: From November to February the city is home to some of the funniest, most picturesque carnivals which are being held on a weekly basis.
