Hawaii Healing Arts College (HHAC), approved by Department of Education, offers a 600 hour certified diploma program in massage therapy. Licensed from the Hawaii State Board of Massage Therapy, this program offers college students proven and advanced education in both science and practical hands-on massage methods.
The 600-hour Professional Massage Therapy Training Course at HHAC is a certificate program that permits graduate students to apply for the Hawaii State Massage Therapy Licensing Exam, along with the exam for National Certification through the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB).
Potential students are asked to call for a scheduled appointment time before going to the administration offices or classes. Appointments may be created by calling (808) 266-2462 or email
[email protected].
The students are required to present a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent. Once approved for the program, the student will be instructed to submit a TB skin clearance examination. Students come to HHAC throughout the world: Japan, Australia, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, and more. Note, HHAC does not provide accommodation facility for students; however there are many apartments and houses for rent in the region.
They have well experienced DOE Certified Instructors and Massage Professionals supplying various methods in the classroom and integrate advanced techniques into full body massages. The experiences the instructors provide help students achieve practical hands-on internship that fully prepares them for a productive career as licensed massage therapists.
