Heather McSparron possesses a clear understanding of the procurement regulations (FAR, DFAR, ITAR). She is a highly motivated individual who holds a great expertise in the government procurements as a buyer. She worked as a Buyer in Baghdad from 2017 until June 2018 where she continued her duties as the previous ones. Talking about her skills, Heather holds a solid background in internal/external customer relations and communication skills.

From 2012-2015, she has been working as a buyer at DynCorp International at Melbourne. Here, she prepared and solicited quotes to the selected brokers. Besides, she provided OEM or FAA approved repair facilities for aircraft and non-aircraft new and repair parts.

Heather McSparron started serving as a buyer at DRS-RSTA in 2007 at Melbourne. She was well versed with the fact that if a buyer receives a purchase order that does not comply with the desired specifications, it can be a nightmare for the organization. A purchase order always offers legal clarity that can be used as point of reference when things go wrong. Heather always ensured that the selected purchase orders are highly compliant per the CPRS guidelines.

While making the purchase of various goods or services, it is required to have some cost analysis, which includes the verification of pricing. Heather McSparron created new price analysis template for the procurement department in order to utilize in current purchase orders. The analysis included negotiations, savings, weighted average and history for each of use.

Pertaining to her education credentials, Heather McSparron is currently studying at Purdue University Global where she is pursuing Bachelors in Business Management. She also attended Everest University for 2 years while working and transferred the credits to Purdue. Thereafter, she started her online courses in Iraq.
Besides a buyer, Heather served as a Drug Demand Reduction Officer who was quite familiar with the wing level planning and execution of drug demand reduction program. She always ensured that this program promoted Civil Air Patrol as a positive community service lifestyle.
