Haruyasu Idachi recently celebrated 35 successful years of being in the IT software industry. He started his career as a System Analyst and Programmer working for a local bank in the Bay Area in 1981 and worked his way up to become the Senior Lead IT Software Consultant at one of the large Bay Area corporations.

Haruyasu Idachi was born in Gamagori, Aichi, Japan in 1955. He moved to the United States when he was 16 years old to attend the Toccoa Falls Academy in Toccoa, Georgia. He enrolled at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in Accounting. Following his graduation, he went back to Japan and worked for a year at Newsweek International in Tokyo, Japan. Idachi returned to the United States after spending a year in Japan to pursue a career in the IT software industry.

Haruyasu Idachi attended Business School and Control Data Institute and landed his first job as a System Analyst and Programmer at a bank in San Mateo, California. Over the next 30 years, he worked as a consultant for a variety of companies in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, banking, insurance, brokerage, retail, and software industry. Idachi is a technologist and consultant specialized in web and Windows application development and has worked for several Fortune 100 companies in and around the Bay Area. His strengths are in the analysis of business requirements and development of software using the latest software technology.

Idachi is married to a German lady for over 20 years and resides in Orinda, California with his wife. He is a respectable member of the community and has lived in Orinda for almost 30 years. Haruyasu Idachi was baptized by a Swedish Southern Baptist minister in Japan when he was 14 years old. He is a busy man, but enjoys listening to music, watching movies, hiking, and traveling. He is an ardent NLF and NBA fan and watches all the matches when he is not busy working.
