Harold Bob Nartey shares the importance of philanthropy on making a positive impact on the world.

Healthcare professional Harold Bob Nartey cares about people. His reputation in the healthcare and fitness industry has inspired others—in turn—encouraging Nartey to continue to fight for a person’s health. There isn’t a certain finesse that someone has to carry or a standard to live up to. In fact, there is a simple art to philanthropy and here are several steps to help paint the picture:

Be Passionate

Passion is the root of becoming a good philanthropist. A person who knows what they believe, why they believe it, and stands firm in their convictions can make a true impact. Passion forces someone to work twice as hard to make their voice heard and garners the respect of others who may not be a part of their cause.

Do the Research and Know the Mission

Whether its animal rights or children’s advocacy, it's important that the newly found philanthropist knows what they are getting in to. Researching the topic at hand and speaking with people who have benefited or have started similar philanthropic goals can help formulate a unique idea.

Walking blindly into any situation doesn’t always work out. That’s why it’s important to know what the mission is and be able to clearly identify purpose and goals

Respect Time

Starting a philanthropic effort and not seeing it through is an awful way to start. A philanthropist has to be generous with their time and able to follow through.

Funding Is Crucial

Philanthropists don’t have to be millionaires, however, they do have to have a plan. Knowing how much will be given and for how long is imperative. Sitting down and formulating a plan will help someone decipher how much giving is necessary to keep the charitable efforts going.

As a Philanthropist, Harold Bob Nartey, couldn’t make a difference without funding. Funding is the backbone to funneling a philanthropic project. Even if a person can funnel the cash alone, it’s still important to talk to potential investors. Formulating a solid business plan with a projected goal is a great start.
