United States, 10th Sept 2013 - Cuttin Up, a full service salon in Medford Oregon has launched a new website in order to stay competitive in the local beauty market. The new web site is currently up and running for the general public to view.

The new website was built to replace an unappealing website created by an unnamed yellow page company. “We are so excited about our new site.” says Sonja Beal, owner of Cuttin Up. “Our old site was ugly and now we have a site that is a representation of who we are and what we do.”

In the competitive world of the beauty business a salon must be well represented online. When it comes to hair, nails, tanning and piercing a website must be appealing and trendy as potential customers will quickly judge a book by its cover.

The new website was built utilizing WordPress which gives Beal the opportunity to control and handle her own site. With WordPress managing the new site is a breeze with easy to use and intuitive back end. Beal is able to add photos, blog, capture emails for her newsletter and change content any time she feels like it. With the previous site she was at the mercy of the yellow page company that built the site with any changes that needed to be made.

The website was built by Revelation Marketing Systems a web design and internet marketing company located in Medford Oregon. Beal was referred to RMS by one of her clients. “When I first saw Sonja’s (old) website I quickly realized it was hurting her business not helping.” said Matt Allen owner of RMS. “It did not rank well in the search engines, the content was weak and the colors used were gaudy.”

After an initial meeting and reviewing RMS’s other work Beal new she had found the answer she was looking for. Within a few days work had begun on the new site and week later Beal had a new site.

Beal is looking forward to her clients seeing her new site and to generating new business from the internet. “Everyone is using the internet these days and if you are not found and if you do not have a nice website you are not getting new business” said Beal.
