Gretchen Schorr Supports Animal Charities

Posted June 13, 2013 by gretchenschorr

Gretchen Schorr supports animal charities both in and outside of the community she lives in.

Temecula, California, resident Gretchen Schorr has had a lifelong passion for animals. She sustains this passion for animals in her own busy life as an investment advisor with her own dogs, as well as being an avid supporter of several animal charities. The charities that Gretchen Schorr supports help with animal issues in her own community, as well as in the global community.

One charity that Gretchen Schorr supports, Animal Friends of the Valley, not only rescues and shelters animals; but also helps to raise awareness on several issues. For instance, like many other local rescues they offer options to spay and neuter pets, and assist with pet adoptions. However, in Southern California, they also are promoting awareness of the coyote problem and what residents, especially pet owners, can do to keep their pets and their property safe.

Global charities that Gretchen Schorr supports, such as the World Wildlife Fund, support worldwide research and conservation efforts to help stem the damage that has been done and is being done to animals and ecosystems. Gretchen Schorr is an avid traveler and has visited several game reserves in Africa; she would like to see more of these types of reserves for animals worldwide. One of the few opportunities people have to witness how animals interact within an ecosystem is in reserves and parks like these.

Gretchen Schorr’s commitment to animals in her own community and worldwide is touching. Her support of animal charities like the World Wildlife Fund, the Humane Society, the Animal Friends of the Valley, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, and the San Diego shows her commitment to continue supporting an issue that she has a passion for in any way that she is able. Gretchen Schorr is committed to being a caring and contributing citizen not only of Temecula, but of the world community as well.

Gretchen Schorr’s passion for animals and animal charities is one that she is more than happy to share with anyone she meets. She only hopes to help make the world a better place not only for its human inhabitants, but for its animal inhabitants as well.
