In a person’s life there are many stages, where they participate in many roles. Like in the childhood they went to school, then college or university and then they find their profession that they want to live and earn from that. Well, in all these stages they always wait very year for the result of their hard work. When others appreciate your work or marks, that you have obtained or any achievement that you have got or any kind of bonus in the job.

Similarly, in the television industry waits for the result. This result is judged by the television viewers and the jury of the award decides. The hum TV channel every year announced an award show for the Hum TV dramas and their actors, actress, directors, producers, support casts etc. these awards are categories according to the work. Hum TV, it is a celebrated Pakistani channel, it published beautiful scripted dramas, the artists are so brilliant in their work, and they are very versatile in the acting. This channel has been from eight years, but never has it arranged a proper award show ceremony for their artistic or other members of the serials for their brilliant work. But from the last year (2013) the Hum TV has organized the show, the first function was held at the Expo, Karachi to celebrate the cast and crew’s performance that they played in the shows.

In this the red carpet would be hosted by the well known directors, producers, singers, actors, actresses, hosts, socialites and fashion style of the Pakistani dramas attended this event. In this red carpet the best couple that noticed was Aamna Sheikh, in the cream saree worked around the borders with multi color and Mohib Mirza in the black Sherwani.

The award show was opened by the legendary Sufi singer Abiba Parveen with her two most liked songs, yaarko hum naejabaja dekha and meinnaara-i-mastana. These songs make the audience full in boost and they enjoyed as always her songs. There were thirty two categories for the awards in the total to seven viewer’s choice awards.

In the award show Mahira Khan has got the best actress award for her excellent acting in the Humsafar. She also hosted the show’s imported part with the actor Mikaal. There were many live performance that night, audience hoot and scream so loud. It shows who amazing that award night was. In this lifetime achievement award was given to the late Moin Akhtar. At the end of the show Humaima Malik gave the beautiful dance performance. It was the successful first award ceremony of the Hum TV channel.
