Gilbert Starleigh is a strong Christian dedicated to sharing the gospel message with others as often as possible. Through these organizations, Gilbert Starleigh is able to bring the word of God to those who are incarcerated and to help inspire them to improve their lives both in prison and outside of it.

Kairos International is a Christian ministry that works in states nationwide, as well as internationally in countries like Australia, Canada, and other South and Central American countries. Kairos International and its volunteers work to serve the spiritual needs of incarcerated adults and juveniles, as well as families affected by the incarceration of a loved one. Kairos International works to introduce the love of Christ to those in prison and their families. The hope of Kairos International, and volunteers like Gilbert Starleigh, is that by introducing those affected by incarceration to Christ’s unfailing love; they will be inspired to grown in their relationship with God and make a change in their own lives.

Gilbert Starleigh also works with Bill Glass Champions for Life. This organization spends a weekend having talented volunteers share both their testimony and their talent. The hope of this organization is that by having volunteers share their testimony and then demonstrate their God-given talents they are able to show others what can be accomplished when a person has God in their life.

Gilbert Starleigh feels that the work done by these prison ministries is extremely important in the work of bringing others to Christ. “Organizations like Kairos and Champions for Life do a service not only to those individuals, but also to our society as a whole. They inspire people to strive for better lives after their incarceration. I would encourage everyone to get involved with that,” says Gilbert Starleigh. Kairos and Bill Glass Champions for Life both minister to prisoners across the country, so people can get involved and make a difference in lives in their own communities.
