Adds Hearty, Wholesome, and Homemade Soup to Winter Menu; Burger in Soup

NEW FAIRFIELD, CT – DATE –Olde 37 Patio & Grille, the simple but gourmet place for the All-American hamburger, announced today that is has added a selection of hearty, wholesome, and homemade soups to its winter menu. The restaurant also debuted a fun novelty, a “burger in soup,” which combines Olde 37’s classic grass-fed burger with cheese in a bowl of soup.

“I know, we’re going to hear, ‘Waiter, there’s a burger in my soup,’ but this was definitely worth trying,” said chef Carl Huben, founder and proprietor of Olde 37. “We actually got the idea from a customer, Myke F. of New Fairfield, who suggested the concept on Yelp after he was inspired by the combination of our American Dip Burger and AuJus dipping sauce.”

The new soups include unique offerings such as Pumpkin Mushroom and Clam with Corn Chowder. Huben’s kitchen staff always makes their own stocks – the secret to a great soup. Olde 37 is well known for serving the region’s finest premium grass-fed hamburgers, as well as their Crispy Oven Fries, regular and sweet potato. The restaurant also caters to vegetarians with a Portobella Mushroom Burger and a vegetarian 3 Bean Chili.

Huben founded Olde 37 after spending more than 20 years running a full service restaurant. He wanted to simplify the experience by focusing on what could be done to make the traditional hamburger as great tasting as possible. He found that grass fed steers, which are never fed grain and are raised hormone-free and antibiotic-free results in a much fuller, ‘beefier,’ and more natural flavor. The meat is also leaner and healthier for the customer. Olde 37 Patio & Grill sources its premium, grass- fed beef from Josef Meiller Slaughter House and Farm, possibly the finest available grass-fed beef in the region.
