North Hollywood, CA. - Gian Solo has announced the follow-up to his successful debut single “Come Back to Me” with a similar, sad-folksy song entitled “Stay,” set to be released on August 27th, 2021.

“Stay” was written, performed, recorded and edited by Gian at his own personal home studio in North Hollywood, CA. Choosing to craft the songs with care at home on his own time, gave Gian the necessary keys to be able to flex the time and really lay down the words and lines in the manner that he envisioned. Gian is taking his time to make sure that the songs get the attention they deserve. This is the case for “Stay.”

“I wrote pieces of the lyrics to Stay in different areas of Los Angeles, hence why the lyrics are strung loosely. But the gist of the song is literally no secret, it’s a song about someone that is begging for their partner, lover or acquaintance to stay the night, instead of hitting the road. Whether it’d be for love, comfort, accompaniment, camaraderie or just not wanting to be alone, the ask is real. Sometimes, at this point in time, lasting friendships are made or broken. I wanted to capture all of those emotions.”

The Los Angeles, CA filipino native is currently planning to release acoustic singles throughout the end of the year before starting on his next project, culminating with an end of the year online live performance of the singles.

“I’m currently figuring out which way to go with my music after I release these acoustic singles. I have songs sitting in my comp but none of them are really a full record’s worth because I’ve got a mix of pop, rock, reggae, folk and more. I know, get it together right?”
