Renowned author, personal therapist, and life coach, Britten Wilder has worked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment business. At 24, he was the youngest person employed at American Media Services, which is the largest black-owned communications firm in Atlanta. His interview for the job at American Media Services is one he will always remember.

When he went for the interview, the company’s Vice President told him that the interview would be brief since she had an appointment with “Telly.” Britten had no idea know who Telly was but soon found out when a few minutes later Telly Savalas walked in. Wilder was told that if he accepted the position, he would be writing Savalas’ show “Crimebusters.”. After gathering his composure, Wilder accepted the job offer.

As American Media Services interviews and promotes top-name performers such as Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Paul McCartney, and Ray Parker Jr., Britten Wilder got the opportunity to meet and interview many big stars. Along with conducting interviews, he also wrote the nationally syndicated show “Coast to Coast Top 20”, which is heard in more than 300 radio stations worldwide.
