Healing through Art is a program created to empower trauma survivors. Using art therapy, victims are able to create and then sell their work. This, in turn, provides them with recognition, direction, and hope.
Healing through Adventure is an initiative that helps individuals to overcome fears and setbacks – especially those with PTSD, anxiety, and other emotional and physical disorders or illnesses.

With these programs, the foundation is making a positive social impact by helping those suffering from traumas or disorders to make positive life changes. Their values include creating ‘Awesome Experiences’, being ‘Innovate’ in solutions to helping organizations achieve their missions, ‘Creative’ in making a difference, and ‘Experimental’ in trying new things that may help victims cope with the problems and find the road that leads to healing.

The foundation was inspired by the death of Jessie Krawczyk Miele, who passed away after giving birth to her first child, Natas. The family was impacted greatly but has recognized that the legacy of Jessie was her creative genius. They hope to pass that on to others and use what was her strength to remind her son, and the world that healing can be found through art, technology, and adventure.
