[Provo, August 22, 2016] – Heritage Treatment Center, a Utah-based residential treatment center, aims to give mentally and emotionally struggling teens a life-changing therapeutic experience. One way they do this is through sports and recreation that teach the students to love life.

Heritage Treatment Center allows students to participate in team sports throughout the year. These athletic activities allow them to develop interests in activities they can actively pursue outside the treatment center.

The students play basketball in the winter, softball in spring, and soccer in the summer. During the fall, the boys play flag football while the girls play volleyball.

Since the treatment center is at the mouth of Provo Canyon, they have access to outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, biking, and fishing. Cross country and downhill skiing as well as snowboarding are also available.

They expose students to these adventurous experiences that allow them to experience the thrill without any negative consequences.
