Every NFL team is an assortment of strengths and weaknesses, and no team excels divorce lawyers atlanta area. Many of these teams have spent the 1st few weeks of the offseason looking to patch holes in the lineups. Others have been caught watching strong units find weaker as free providers departed for greener (using money) pastures.

And a few clubs have made strong products even stronger with certain free-agent signings and deal pickups.

Which teams are the strongest in which parts of their rosters? Below, I've ranked the top 10 teams in various items, using Football Outsiders' advanced stats put together with scouting reports and consultation while using the FO staff. We looked at each past performance (not merely last season) and what meaning for our expectations for 2017. We also looked intended for both offseason player motion and injured stars from 2016 that are projected to return.

Note that rather compared to worry about defining some other part of the front seven with regard to teams with different techniques, I ranked each team's top seven twice: against the pass plus the run.

Quarterbacks

1. Green Bay Packers
2. New England Patriots
3. New Orleans Saints
4. Seattle Seahawks
5. Atlanta Falcons
6. Indianapolis Colts
7. Pittsburgh Steelers
8. Detroit Lions
9. Dallas Cowboys
10. Carolina Panthers

Aaron Rodgers finally go back to Aaron Rodgers level inside second half of very last season, so he's No. 1. At some point, Father Time will arrive for Tom Brady in addition to Drew Brees, but it's hard to be able to predict which year which is to be until it actually transpires. We moved Atlanta down a few spots because 2016 ended up being so clearly a career-best season for Matt Ryan, but it's not almost like Ryan was subpar ahead of that.

While picking the best seven or eight teams here was pretty effortless, it's very hard to help rank the teams from the 9-16 area. The problem is the of separating a quarterback on the offense around him, and knowing how to square statistics and film study when they don't agree on a person. No quarterback epitomizes these complications greater than Washington's Kirk Cousins, although Oakland's Derek Carr and also Cincinnati's Andy Dalton present identical issues. So does Dak Prescott, but right now rating the Dallas quarterbacks means ranking not just Prescott but also your Prescott-Tony Romo combination. Until the Cowboys definitively trade or cut Romo, no team has better depth in the position. Without Romo on the actual roster, Dallas would fall from the top 10, to be replaced by means of Oakland or Washington.

Meanwhile, Cam Newton presents the other quandary. No quarterback watches the wide receivers leave more yards on the field with drops or the shortcoming to fight off protective backs, plus the Carolina unpleasant line was a dumpster fire in 2016. But Newton's MVP season wasn't that long ago that we can't remember it, plus Derek Anderson provides each Panthers a solid experienced backup. Tampa Bay and Tennessee also get consideration in the 9-16 group, with maturing young quarterbacks who could transfer to the top 10 using a solid 2017 season.
