Fundamental Electronics Pvt Ltd (Formerly Fundamental Finvest Pvt Ltd) was founded by Shri Sanjay Taneja in 1995 . Initially in the business of Hire Purchase & Lease financing FEPL opened its first store in Ballygunge Phari in South Kolkata in 2003 under the banner SAMSUNG DIGITAL PLAZA. This store is the oldest Samsung brand store in India today and was later renamed SAMSUNG SMART PLAZA. The following year we opened another Samsung Smart Plaza in City Centre 1 Mall in Salt Lake. This was one of the first Electronics Store to be opened in a Mall in India. Today the company operates six Samsung Smart Plazas in Kolkata and is one go the biggest franchisees of Samsung in India. FEPL also operates a Multi brand outlet in South city Mall which is the biggest and most successful mall in Kolkata.
