Aventura, FL (July 12, 2015) – On Saturday, April 25, 2015, Lee S. Babitt, President of Slate Medical & Dental Construction Services of South Florida (http://www.slate-mdcs.com) presented Band Together for Survival, a live benefit concert held at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in Aventura, FL. “The goal of Band Together For Survival,” states Babitt, “is to educate our communities and achieve a heightened awareness of the urgency for early breast cancer detection procedures and accessibility of available resources for the preservation of body and life.”

In collaboration with Mount Sinai Medical Center, MusicWorks, Inc., Novecento Restaurant, La Estancia Argentina, The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative, Jazz & Blues Florida, Berlin Designs, Professional Bank, Ariel Cuello-Mana Productions, U Style Day Spa Salon, Bikram Yoga of North Miami Beach & Weston, Hallandale Creative Printing, Messinger & Associates, CPAS and RetroSource Commercial Real Estate, Band Together for Survival, a festive and celebratory event, is a unique concert to promote breast cancer awareness.

Performances by: Ghaleb, Jeffrey Gaines, Adriano, Mary Jennings & JL Fulks entertained the sold-out crowd for 3 ½ hours.

A pre-show champagne/wine pre-show reception was catered by co-sponsors Novecento and La Estancia Argentina. The entire event was memorialized in photographs and a high-definition digital recording mastered by Ariel Cuello of Mana Productions. There was a post-show meet and greet with the artists for VIP guests.

“The message we send extends beyond breast cancer 'awareness', directing individuals to
assistance and diagnosis with qualified healthcare providers," states Lee Babitt, who hopes that this concert event and annual campaign will eventually achieve national recognition. Next year’s show was announced for April 16, 2016, with performers to be announced.
