If you want a well-planned landscape in your yard, you should browse through different landscaping styles and discuss with the landscape design consultant to know which style best fits your property.

Queensland, January 23, 2018: Landscape designs play a crucial role in beautifying a property. Hence, it is important to pay special attention and think carefully while designing a landscape. Since there is a diverse range of landscape design styles, the landscape design consultants need to decide what style would best fit a property, home as well as lifestyle of their clients.

One of the important considerations for landscape design is to utilise what you already have. For example, if someone wishes to design his garden in oriental landscape style, yet the yard condition cannot support this, the landscape designer should never try out the style. However, people living in a dry climate may consider including some drought-resistant plants in their landscape designs.

When the landscape architect consultants design a landscape or garden, you should consider a few factors as mentioned below:

• Conditions in the yard – whether the area is very sunny or shady
• Purposes and activities to be taken place in the yard
• Landscape style that will best complement the home
• Low-maintenance or high-maintenance landscape
• Landscape style that will best reflect the lifestyle

While designing a landscape, the landscape architect and design consultants go through various landscaping and garden styles to find out which style will fit best. Besides, they try to be creative and incorporate different elements and styles to give a one-of-a-kind landscaping look.

1. English Garden Style

This style incorporates different perennials, shrubs and arbour in the design so that those elements can complement the architectural style of property.

2. Oriental Landscape

By using water, rocks and evergreens, the Oriental Landscape is designed with a variety of plants. This particular style intends to create some distinctive perspectives.

3. Formal Landscape

This particular landscaping style incorporates symmetrical patterns, geometric shapes and straight lines to place orderly, well-pruned plants. The formal style landscape usually needs lots of maintenance.

4. Informal Landscape

Here, you will find plant beds with curved edges whereas the plants are organised in apparently random patterns. If you have children, the informal style landscape is an ideal design as they can get a vast area in the landscape to play.
