Oatmeal Can Be both Organic and Tasty; Don’t Let Brands Tell You Something Else

Oatmeal has been a staple breakfast at every house for years. Yet the public is eating unhealthy cereal that is chocked full of sugar and calories. At the very least, the so-called healthy cereals do not contribute to any important food components.

USA – 12.08.2021 – Children in this country consume boxed cereals with such an alarming frequency that they forget the difference between naturally grown food (fruits, veggies, and grains) and food that comes sealed in boxes and cans. They do not realize and are not made to realize that the composition of these foods and the digestion process required for it is not natural and quite different (in a negative manner) from that of natural foods. It would also be an understatement to say that only kids suffer from this mentality and habits.

Lack of nutrition in the average boxed cereal does not imply that one only feeds their child fruits and veggies. Organic oatmeal is an example of organic food that gives both nutrition and taste. This is ideal for anyone regardless of age (Note: Babies and toddlers who cannot ingest this stuff are excluded).

Firstly, let’s brief about the term ‘organic’ once. To say no chemicals are used is a misdirection. Organic foods are grown with the help of fertilizers and pesticides that are largely made from natural materials (animals, plants) and are used ethically and strategically.

Organic oatmeal is made from several ingredients that are produced organically. Upcoming businesses and stores with ethical mindsets are taking the risk to market organic products (as they are costly).

Several varieties of oatmeal are sold by having different mixes of ingredients. The ingredients in Organic Oatmeal include rolled oats, steel-cut oats, Kamut, Khorasan, Spelt, rye, hard red winter wheat, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, sunflower seeds, bran, raisins, almonds, etc, all of which are organically produced.

Such products are made from costly ingredients and are rich in proteins and fibers. They are cost-effective and even little extra costs are worth the food being organic.

One can easily find online stores that sell organic cereal or oatmeal that have a wide range. Just because they are organic doesn’t mean they won’t be tasty. A successful store called Farm to Table Foods provides interestingly flavored oatmeals that are affordable to all contain highly nutritious ingredients.

It would be worthwhile to read up about the ill effects of consuming branded cereals on a daily basis and how the culture of boxed and canned products has become unhealthily normal in the US.
