Multiplayer Co-Op Coming to Dragon Age Inquisition

Less than a day ago, BioWare has revealed that there will be a multiplayer co-op component to the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition. Is the Dragon Age series forever tainted now that they’re adding a multiplayer dimension to the game? In my personal opinion, no. The game is still primarily Single Player, touting a 200 hour completion time. Mutliplayer co-ops will be played with up to 4 players and will not get the chance to play the single player campaign.

Instead multiplayer will focus on gaining loot. At launch there will only be three multiplayer campaigns available (possibly more in the works) each lasting about 20-30 minutes. They will randomly generate a large level designed comprised of many subsections. Think Diablo hack and slash with friends and you’ll have a good idea on the experience and components with it.

The game is going “multiplayer light” rather than full on co-op. According to Creative Director Mike Laidlaw, “The campaign [single player] is a story about you, and your growth, and your Inquisition.” We’re glad to hear Bioware is only trying to enhance the game vs. a full-on multiplayer experience much like Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls Online.

If you’re looking to pre-order the game, a solid discount appeared today at Green Man Gaming for the PC Digital Download. The UK-based retailer is offering a 23% discount, taking $13.79 off the $59.99 list price. (This is an Origin key).

If you have more concern about Inquisition’s multiplayer aspect, there’s a fairly detailed FAQ over at the official website.see more at:http://www.esogoldfast.net/
