It was started in 2018 when Pit Wahl had the crazy idea to create something that reflects the simplicity and personality of the woman he met while studying in Changchun, China. His encounter with a young woman who had the vision of unpretentious elegance and a simplistic will to approach life inspired him to create a watch collection with minimalist aesthetics. “I dedicated this watch collection to a woman I met at the other side of the world. She showed me that you don't need to do something amazing to be happy,” Wahl shared.

The goal was to keep everything as simple as possible. The shape as well as the color variation should speak a clean language. “Dora Armor represents refined and modest design at its finest. The strive for simplicity as the ultimate sophistication makes it intriguing,” Wahl said. “I wanted to create something emotional for people who appreciate simple design and beauty. Watches are very personal things – expressions of who you are. Wearing a Dora Armor watch is a banner of minimalism and a symbol of simplicity that you can wear proudly,” he added.

Designed in Germany and made using high quality materials, Dora Armor watches are integrated with Swiss-made movement to ensure utmost precision and accuracy. It is made with sapphire crystal glass and stainless steel mesh straps that come in two sizes, 36mm and 40mm. This month, Pit Wahl is planning to launch a crowdfunding campaign that will provide Kickstarter supporters up to 40% off the retail price and other perks.
