DJ Vanderley has a great knowledge of programming languages MATLAB and C++. MATLAB is a multi-paradigm numerical computing environment & fourth-generation programming language. It is developed by MathWorks, and allows matrix multiplications, implementation of algorithms, plotting of functions and data, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs which are written in languages C, Java, Fortran, and C++. More than a million of scientists and engineers in the industry and academia use MATLAB, the language of technical computing.

DJ Vanderley has knowledge of C++ also. C++ is a general purpose programming language which is compiled and free form. It is an intermediate-level language, because it comprises the features of both low level and high level languages. It also provides the features of imperative, object-oriented and generic programming. C++ is amongst the most popular programming languages, and it is implemented on a variety of hardware and operating system platforms.

Vanderley, in addition to C++ and MATLAB, has many other technical skills. He is skilled in Project and Team Management, Excel, Report Preparation, ANSYS Software, and SolidEdge and SolidWorks. He also has experience in Shock and Bump Stop, and Roehrig Shock Dyno.

Vanderley is a third generation racer who has grown up in the racing world with a grandfather in the NHRA Hall of Fame who also holds Bonneville land speed records, and a father who owns VDL Fuel Systems and builds Holley carburetors for all levels of racing across the country.
