This Press Release is written to inform the readers that Terry D Cornell attended the Annual Tribal Council Meeting of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribe in October, 2017.

 
[b]Terry D Cornell[/b] is the member of the Cheyenne Arapaho Tribe of Oklahoma and also a part of Arapaho tribe. On October 7, 2017, he attended an Annual Tribal Council meeting of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribe of Oklahoma, where the tribal council is made of all tribal members above 18 years of age. The meeting was held at the Community Center at Concho, Oklahoma.

[b]Purpose of the meeting-[/b]

The purpose of this annual meeting was to make certain changes as well as laws affecting the Cheyenne Arapaho Nation – It is a sovereign nation in the United States. There were about 450 tribal members at this yearly meeting.

[b]Resolutions of the meeting-[/b]

At the Annual Tribal Council meeting, [b]Terry D Cornell[/b] introduced a number of resolutions and these were adopted by the tribal council. Below are the resolutions-

- One of the resolutions was to make a definitive change in the Cheyenne Arapaho Constitution for electing all the Tribal Judges as well as Superior Court Judges as a substitute of Executive appointments.

- Another resolution was the audit of Tribal Members families ensuring all family members were registered with the tribe.

[b]Terry D Cornell[/b] is a highly-experienced and committed veteran from Air Force and Navy. At the Son’s of The American Legion Squadron 991, he is the Service Officer and is the trustee of Chicago Police Department/Knights of Columbus Council 12173. Since 2003, he is serving as the American Legion Poppy Sales Chairman.
