Ginnie Springs Outdoors is a campground and dive destination that opened its doors to the public in 1976 and has been in business ever since. It is a five star facility that is found outside High Springs in Florida. It is a world renowned location for activities such as swimming; cave diving, scuba diving, kayaking, river tubing and canoeing.

This site, which was awarded the best campground the second time around by Florida Monthly magazine, sits on a wooded two hundred acre plot. It boasts of seven fresh water springs and borders the banks of the Santa Fe River. The underwater world is full of colorful fish and grotos. The seven springs make this venue the best for Florida scuba diving and also training and certification on the same.

The park has specific hours of operation. During summer and winter it is open seven days a week with only slight differences in closing time. The park is open to the public from 8 am throughout all seasons. This is a nature park that is open throughout the year. It is only campers who are allowed access in the park twenty four hours a day. A remittance pass for campers is given out during store hours or outside the gate in case it is open during afterhours. Divers, campers and all those who hold a daily admission pass are the only ones who can come and go as they wish so long as the passes they hold are valid and that they do not exceed the number of persons the pass allows. Campers are advised that entering the camp earlier than 8 am will attract a previous night’s fee. It is also important to note all passes expire at sunset while all scuba divers are required to register at the dive center or they will not be permitted to engage in any sort of diving. Scuba divers are allowed in the park until midnight.

The camp also has several facilities that visitors can make use of to enrich their experience. One of the facilities is the camp store which also doubles up as the dive center. This is the center of activities and the first place to check in during arrivals and pay fees. The store is well stocked with snacks, food items and beverages. The volleyball court and playground are open for those who would love to play ballgames and also have their children play as they watch from the covered pavilions.

Ginnie Springs Outdoors can be accessed from all major roads entering and exiting Florida.
