After successfully completing various key chemical courses, Dylan Bednarz earns admission to the New Jersey based institute NJIT.

After years of devoted student work in the educational field of chemistry, Dylan Bednarz earns his well-deserved admission to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he will pursue a Bachelor of Science Chemical Engineering degree. The New Jersey Institute of Technology is a Newark-based University that has a long history of providing high quality education for those who pursue a career in science and technology. The institution has doubled the size of its campus in the last 10 years, providing an excellent base for their students.

Dylan Bednarz will join a competitive student body ready for knowledge, in what promises to be one of the toughest course in the university’s curriculum. The Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering degree is a four-year course where credits do not come around easily. The first year involves CHEM 121 or CHEM 1265, allowing the students to either choose the Fundamental of Chemical Principles I classes, or learn more about chemistry in the General Chemistry I lessons.

In addition to this curriculum, the first year also includes a Fundamentals of Engineering Design, and an English Competition course (writing, speaking and thinking), Calculus I, Understanding Technological Society, and of course Freshman Seminar as well. The 2nd semester introduces the students to Chemical Engineering, and simultaneously teaches them about General Chemistry Laboratory, General Chemistry II, Computer Programming and Problem Solving, English Composition, Calculus II, Physics I and Physics I Laboratory.

In his second year, Dylan Bednarz will take on new classes like Chemical Process Calculations I, a course that will offer him a deeper understanding the chemical processes. Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics I also joins the curriculum, making it even more diverse and interesting. In the first semester of their second years, the students have to select one class out of the following four complementary courses: The Pre-Modern World, the Modern World, The Twentieth-Century World, or Economics.

During the third and fourth years the stakes are even higher, as the curriculum introduces Kinetics and Reactor Design, Separation Processes I, Techniques of Process Simulation or Engineering Management. Dylan Bednarz can’t wait to start his studies at this prestigious institution that always has a place for students like him.

About: Dylan Bednarz is a budding Chemical Engineer who has a history of knowing and understanding the instruments used in the field.
