Dr. Rose Kenny has been practicing family medicine at her Redmond, Oregon clinic, Family Care Clinic since 2002. At the clinic, she cares for patients of all ages and has developed a loyal following among her patient as well as praise from area doctors. Dr. Kenny is also an avid athlete who has a passion for downhill skiing and skate skiing.

Dr. Kenny is a native of Vermont, who received her M.D. from Tufts University Medical School. She completed her residency in family practice at Eastern Maine Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in obstetrics at Spokane Family Medicine. Her career as a family physician began at Tehama County Health Clinic in Red Bluff, California.

Throughout her career as a dedicated and sought-after physician, Dr Rose Kenny has always found balance through participating in sports. One of her favorites sports, skiing, is a passion that has brought her more than the thrill of conquering a mountain. While skiing on Mount Bachelor in 2001, a chance meeting with a man who sat next to her on a chairlift was life changing. Eleven weeks after meeting on the mountain, the pair married. After the marriage, Dr. Kenny moved to Oregon and began practicing at Central Oregon Family Medicine. In 2002, she opened her own private practice, Family Care Clinic, where she still practices today.

In addition to downhill skiing, Dr. Kenny is also passionate about skate skiing. She has participated in the solo skate skiing portion of the Pole Peddle Paddle (PPP) in Bend, Oregon for the last twelve years, most recently placing 5th in her age group. She also coaches skate skiing classes for the Deschutes Multisport Triathlete Group at Mount Bachelor.

Dr. Rose Kenny has furthered polished her skiing skills through elite camps and clinics at renowned ski resorts throughout the country. In Jackson Hole, Wyoming she has participated in the Steep and Deep Ski Camp and the Women’s Ski Camp, both geared towards expert skiers. She has also participated in women’s ski camps at Snowbird Resort In Utah and for multiple years has refined her ski skating skills at Methow Valley Nordic Ski Camp in Washington.
