Many people feel better about themselves when they have healthy, vital and younger looking skin.

[LONDON, 20/10/2017] Looks are important in today’s world. When someone knows that they look great, it helps them to project the confidence they need to create wonderful interactions with others personally and professionally. Many people feel better about themselves when they have healthy, vital and younger looking skin. This is why so many are turning to cosmetic assistance from procedures like Ultherapy, Botox and dermal fillers.

What makes Ultherapy different?

Ultherapy is a great alternative to Botox and dermal fillers. Both of these techniques work in different ways and on different issues. Ultherapy can be used on all areas of the face, neck and chest. It can be targeted to specific areas or used to improve the overall appearance.

Ultherapy does not require the client to have any chemicals injected into their body and so there is less chance of an adverse reaction. It relies entirely on stimulating the body’s own processes to tighten up the skin.

What happens in an Ultherapy session?

The first step in any Ultherapy treatment is consultation. This is where the practitioner ascertains the needs of the client and offers information on the results they can expect. Good communication at this stage can go a long way towards producing a satisfactory result for the client.

Ultherapy treatment does not require someone to take any time off work or a break from their normal activities except for the 60–90 minutes that the treatment actually takes. The Ultherapy work is done using a handheld device that is connected to an ultrasound machine. This is moved over the area in questions, such as the face, in direct contact with the skin. The practitioner will, initially, look for areas to apply the treatment. When suitable places are found, they change the frequency of the ultrasound waves to create the desired effect.

During the Ultherapy process, the client may feel some heat or a buzzing sensation. Sometimes this is described as uncomfortable but within easily bearable limits. Some clients are more sensitive to the process than others.

It is not always possible to see the effects straight away. In fact, the treatment works over a period of months with the peak results usually being visible at or around the three month mark.
