The reason that I am putting up my personal story is to help those who are considering Lasik treatment, to get some guidance and a personal view on how it all works and whether or not it is the right option for you. It will also help for those who have read so many horror stories that it can at times be overwhelming to know whether it is the right option or not. Of course when I had to get it done, I had to literally be pulled out of my office seat to go an get a consultation with my local Lasik Centre to get them to talk to me about my individual case. I am super glad that I didn't refuse to go and that I did because they were very helpful in explaining everything in a kind, professional and reassuring manner.

First off let me tell you the story of why I was even interested in going to get Lasik treatment. For me personally I have worn glasses ever since I was a little boy, and that was well over thirty years ago. My eyes were very weak which meant that I had to wear glasses from the moment that I woke up to the moment I went to sleep. Of course wearing them for so long means that I have a special place where I place them and of course I have several different pairs to know that I am always in style with the right pair when needed. Recently, and by that I mean the last few years I have had the problem of dry eye which has caused the Lasik doctors not to recommend a procedure to be done. Although it depends on each individual case.
