An error message in appearance as following pops up:
“The Add-in “Kaspersky Mail Checker” (C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\mcou.dll) is unable to be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook.
Following are the steps to completely troubleshoot Outlook add-in error for Kaspersky product
The easiest way to fix the error is to disable the Add-in in once. Although if the problem still persists, following steps can be taken to resolve the outlook add-in error.
• Firstly, open the Outlook email
• Navigate through the Tools, find Trust Centre
• Click Add-Ins section in order to remove the error
• Next, at the bottom of the menu, you will come across the “Manage” icon
• Select the “Exchange Client Extensions” icon so thatit can be easily located in the drop down box.
• Click on the “Go” option.
• Un-check the “Kaspersky Mail Checker” icon
• Click “OK” and follow prompts.
If you want to keep the “Add-in” then, follow the instructions described as below:
• Close the logged in Outlook email first.
• Go to the “Start” menu in case you are working with the Windows XP
• Click the “Run” icon.
• Type the following command in accordance to the system version you are using.
regsvr32 -u “C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0\mcou.dll”
