4. Stop! – In the middle of what you’re saying, get a reaction out of the audience such as ask a question or get a nod
5. Balance – Be objective and not too opinionated – this will lose your credibility
6. Be positive – do not criticize them
7. Clarify what you need from the audience – Solve a problem, suggestions
8. Respect advice given
9. Be constructive
10. Thank the listeners – you have taken up their time. Be grateful and tell them so
