His typical day at work involves consultations with clients and discussions over the range of options matching their needs. He also sketches out ideas, sometimes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) so that the client can easily visualize the finished design. He specializes in several processes that are vital in jewelry design, such as mounting, model making (casting), stamping, press work, soldering, fabrication, and polishing.
