Promwad, an electronics design company, has installed in its laboratories special engineering equipment including spectrum and logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, precision digital multi-meters and JTAG-controllers. The aim of these devices is to ensure quality of products that are manufactured for telecommunication, transportation, automation, entertainment and other industries.

Oscilloscope Tektronix DPO 4104, one of the main elements in the laboratory, is aimed to monitor the waveform of analog signals. It is widely used by Promwad experts in debugging of high-speed interfaces, waveforms testing and trouble-shooting.

Logic analyzer Leaptronix PLA-1016 is a device that enables to debug digital interfaces with low speed working. It also helps to analyze standard interfaces including SPI, I2C and PS232. Provided diagrams can also be used to analyze signals of other interfaces.

One more element of company’s own laboratory is spectrum analyzer agilent technologies N9000A CXA. This analyzer is designed for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of high-frequency paths and spectra of radio signals. It enables to monitor radiated power, spectral band, power of high-order harmonic and out-of-band radiation as well as to make preliminary estimations of EMR.

Promwad has also installed precision digital multi-meter Tektronix DMM4050 and JTAG controller JT 3705/USB. The first device is needed for accurate measurement of electric values while debugging and configuring. The second device is a controller of boundary scan that is used for developing and debugging of digital components, testing and trouble-shooting.

“In order to produce products in line with certain parameters, a company should use only up-to-date equipment. Otherwise, it cannot guarantee the high-quality service execution,” – comments one of company’s engineers.
