Before the IPL auction 2019 all the eight franchises of the Indian Premier League had submitted their list of players retained and released to BCCI. Almost all of them have retained their core base.

Some players who can make their debut in IPL 2019 include Shimron Hetmyer, Oshane Thomas, Mohammad Shahzad, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Adil Rashid.

Shimron Hetmyer is a Guyanese cricketer who plays for the West Indies. In the Caribbean Premier League 2018, he finished as the third highest run-scorer in the global T20 League. Hetmyer played for Guyana Amazon Warriors in CPL 2018 gathered 440 runs, which included a century and two fifties. In the last month concluded India vs West Indies series, in the first two ODIs against India, he slammed 106 and 94 respectively.

Jamaican cricketer who plays for the West Indies Oshane Thomas was the one who grabbed everyone’s eyeballs when West Indies played against India in the T20I series earlier this month.

Indian Cricketer Kamlesh Nagarkoti now could finally make his debut for Kolkata Knight Riders. The youngster missed the IPL 11 because of his injury. He was one of the top bowlers in the U-19 World Cup victory earlier in 2018. He bowls in excess of 140 kph.

Spinner Adil Rashid was one who was surprisingly excluded in IPL 2018 auction. Hard-working Adil Rashid has worked hard during this year and might see his hard work pay-off. He bagged 42 ODI wickets this year. He also grabbed the highest number of wickets i.e. 12 for England in T20Is this year.
