The official study was made by Michigan State University at Wellington, New Zealand. The researchers studied the correlation between people having more access to blue spaces of water bodies and their health records. The results were in the favor of the ones having the access.

They also had a survey on how staying by seas affect their mental health. The results were surprising, and helped them conclude on a positive note. The researchers inferred that vacations near water bodies like seas and oceans are more relaxing than land. One of the authors spoke up about the probable reason. As per her, our brain can process the natural vibes better. It reduces the sensory stimuli and eventually promotes mental relaxation. The sound of the waves, the smell and the sight of the ocean, evoke the sense of relaxation. The feeling soothes and calms the human brain to a good extent.

The study also revealed that the Blue space near Seas and Oceans offers better relaxation than the Green spaces offered at the land destinations. As a frequent traveler, Curtis Edmark had realized the proven results, beforehand.
