The 2015 Writers-Editors Network (WEN) Writing Competition Call for Entries is online at the WEN website (writers-editors.com), giving all serious writers, book authors, and poets the opportunity to have their best work judged and compared to their peers.

Entry deadline is March 15, 2015 (postal deadline March 16) – If you haven't yet entered – or have entered, and would like to submit more entries – you have just a few days left to do so.

The WEN Writing Competition recognizes excellence and promise in the written word, from nonfiction articles and book chapters (previously published and unpublished/self-published) to fiction (unpublished and self-published short stories and novel chapters) to children’s literature to poetry.

You can download an entry form and submit via email, using PayPal to send in your entry fee. Or, you can print out the handy entry form and mail in your entry, entry form and entry fee.

The deadline for entries to be postmarked is March 15 each year; however, because March 15 falls on a Sunday this year, entries postmarked on March 16, 2015 will be accepted. Writers-Editors Network and Florida Freelance Writers Association have sponsored the annual contest for over three decades. “During that time, we have been pleased to ‘introduce’ a number of excellent writers,” said Dana K. Cassell, executive director. “In fact, just recently two of our winners have received traditional publishing contracts, illustrating how seriously we take our judging.”
