Koffee with Karan is one of the most popular TV chat shows in the entertainment industry. The show is in the news due to its Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul controversy. Due to the kind of talk they had on the show, the two cricketers were suspended from the playing the ODI series against Australia and also against New Zealand.

Also, India’s cash-rich league Indian Premier League is in full swing to begin from March 23. It is doubtful whether both the cricketers will return to IPL 12 or not. Their IPL teams are concerned about their return as both are the strong players of their teams.

Hardik Pandya plays for IPL franchise Mumbai Indians and KL Rahul plays for Kings XI Punjab. The fate of the two players is dependent on the BCCI’s appointed inquiry committee. So far, the Indian film director and the host of the show Karan Johar was silent on the matter.

The man has now broked his silence and said that it was his show that went wrong for both the cricketers. He regrets about what has happened to them. He said that he is not enjoying TRP and does not care about TRPs.

Karan Johar said, "I have to say that I feel very responsible because it was my show, it was my platform. I invited them as guests and so the ramifications and repercussion of the show are my responsibility. I have had so many sleepless nights just wondering about how I can undo this damage, who is gonna listen to me? It's now gone into a zone which is beyond my control."

He added, "I have to say and I don't defend myself when I say this. I have to say that the questions that I asked the two boys are the questions I ask everyone, including women. Deepika (Padukone) and Alia (Bhatt) were on the show, I asked them those questions. I have no control about the answers that come my way."

He said, "I am just saying is that I think that perhaps things were said that may have crossed boundaries and I apologize because it was my platform from where it happened. I feel the boys have faced the price for it already,".

Let’s see if both the cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul will return to their IPL teams Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab respectively, or not. Will they form part of Team India in the IPL followed World Cup or not, only time will answer.
