Craig Curk is a successful electronics entrepreneur in the Miami Valley of Ohio who was born and bred in Dayton, Ohio and has chosen to make his professional and personal life in his hometown region. Curk attended Alter High School in Kettering, Ohio, graduating in 1979. Alter High School was originally known as Archbishop Alter High School, operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati and named for Archbishop Karl Joseph Alter. Alter High School was built as a twin of Archbishop Carroll High School in 1958, after Dayton Catholics gathered pledges of almost $5M to raise Catholic high schools in this region of Ohio. Alter High School opened in 1962 and has steadily grown in enrollment and renown in the Dayton area to 605 students, 71 faculty members and over 1,025 course offerings in 2015.
