The National Assessment and Accreditation Council gave Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) an A+ rating (NAAC).
With the improved ranking, the university will be eligible for more University Grants Commission grants (UGC).

The university received a 3.4 out of 4 cumulative grade point average (CGPA). This is the highest score among Uttar Pradesh's 27 state universities. DEI is an ISO 9001 certified university (the world's most widely recognised quality management system).

DEI has a 250-person capacity International Seminar Hall. Visitors/guests can also stay in one of 16 rooms in the same complex. The facility is used to host International Seminars, Workshops, Symposia, and Guest Lectures, among other things.

The Faculty Training and Placement Cell (FTPC) coordinates campus recruitment with various industries and organisations.Companies from a variety of industries, including the IT industry, banking and financial institutions, manufacturing, KPO, consulting, and hospitality, visited the DEI campus for placements. Headstrong, SRF Ltd., HDFC Ltd., Axis Bank, Encyclopedia Britannica Pvt. Ltd., IVEDA, TV AD Index, BHEL, Jaypee Group, Avon India, and other companies visited campus and interviewed students.

According to 2017-18 placement data, the average package offered was Rs 4.5 LPA. The official website has not yet released data on DEI placements for 2021. It will be shared as soon as it is made available to the authorities.

The Institute provides scholarships and loans from the government, charitable institutions, and its own funds to meritorious and financially disadvantaged students, as well as certain other categories of students. If the applicant's behaviour and academic progress are both good, scholarship and loan applications can be recommended.
