Changed your Microsoft account password and now you couldn't log into your computer? Unable to sign into Windows because your password is lost? Don't worry! There are at least two methods that can help you!
Method 1: If you've forgotten your Microsoft account password, use another device (e.g. a computer or a phone) to visit Microsoft's online password reset page, fill in the alternate email address or associated phone number to receive the activation code. After your identity is confirmed, you are allowed to set a new password. Then you can log back into your locked computer with that new password.
Method 2: How can I log back on my computer if my Microsoft account is compromised? PCUnlocker can help you in such a situation. Download the PCUnlocker ISO file and burn it to a CD (or USB flash drive), then boot your locked PC from the CD. When the PCUnlocker program starts, you can select the local account that was linked to your Microsoft account, and then click on "Reset Password" button. Reboot your computer and you can then sign back into Windows 10/8 with your Microsoft account, without losing files.
The last resort is perform a clean reinstallation of Windows. But make sure you back up all important files to an external disc. This can be done by unpluging your hard drive and attach it to a working PC. That's it!
