The new 18-hole Argent Lakes Golf course is a 6,093-yard, par-61 course. “Argent Lakes is a top-notch short course, and we were excited to bring its greens up to a new standard of play,” said Hank Kerfoot, president of Modern Turf. “Hilton Head has so many terrific courses that have benefited from the conversion from bent-grass greens to Ultradwarf Bermudagrass. We have every confidence Argent Lakes will quickly make a name for itself with its new, must-play greens.”

The MiniVerde ultradwarf bermudagrass produces deep roots and is characterized by fine leaf blades, short internodes and high shoot density.
