Rembert, South Carolina (October 23, 2012) - Modern Turf, Inc., a South-Carolina-based turfgrass production company, announced it has completed installation of new greens on the North Course of the acclaimed Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club in Nashville, Tennessee. The company completed a similar renovation project on the club’s South Course.

The North Course at Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club is a 7,190-yard, par-72 course, designed by Tom Kite and Bob Cupp. Since opening in 1992, the private course has hosted several championship tournaments. It is also the home Vanderbilt University’s men’s and women’s golf teams.

Hank Kerfoot, president of Modern Turf, said, “The Vanderbilt Legends course is exquisite. As is the case with many courses, however, the greens were in need of updating. Nashville can be extremely hot and humid, and maintaining these greens can be costly.
